The Supper Series
This project was created in response to a prompt-based creative challenge, designed to encourage experimentation and imaginative thinking. The brief required three food categories (appetiser, main course, dessert), a black and white colour palette, and the inclusion of a character, with the additional challenge of applying the outcome to a physical product. I developed a monochrome illustration series that takes the viewer on a playful journey from soup to tart, introducing a small character to bring personality and narrative to the set. The illustrations were then applied to a tote bag, reinforcing the idea of food enjoyed on the go and allowing the concept to live beyond the page. This project allowed me to explore storytelling through illustration while working within a defined set of creative constraints.
