#NOTMYMONKEY is a collaborative campaign project that responds to the creative industry’s perception of first-time graduates. The aim was to challenge the idea of graduates as “Mac monkeys” and highlight the often-unrecognised role designers play in everyday products. The project resulted in a series of stickers designed to be placed on everyday objects, drawing attention to the fact that these items were intentionally designed. The sticker shape references milk cartons and “missing” adverts, symbolising the lack of recognition designers often receive. My role focused on designing the sticker set in Illustrator and assisting with the photography. The final images were exhibited as part of a showreel alongside other work from the same brief.
